On the 14th of December 2020, Petlas Tire entered the famous Braga Test track in Portugal to showcase and introduce to their dealer network the new Starmaxx Ultra Sport ST760 (225/45 R17) performance tire.
The Starmaxx dealers were kindly invited for a spectacular event to experience the outstanding performance of the tires for themselves via a test drive around the fast demanding circuit. Joe Rodrigues who won the Portuguese Mountain championship in the T4category by Starmaxx sponsorship in 2019 at the Braga Circuit, offered a fantastic opportunity for the Starmaxx dealers to be thrilled with joy and experience exhilarating laps with a Co-Drive Sessions in a Honda Civic car which was wrapped in Starmaxx colors. He said’ it was a privilege to earn a Stamarmaxx sponsorship, and to see Starmaxx brand supports young Professionals to achieve their dreams in order to win the championship.’Joe Rodrigues has demonstrated the high performance and excellent quality of the Starmaxx ST760 tires to the dealers at the Braga Circuit. 30 dealers attended this exciting test drive experience on the 14th of January 2020. Each dealer had an opportunity to test the Ultra Sport ST-760’s performance and quality by themselves which was fitted onto the VW Golf GTI TCR. The dealers also found an excellent opportunity to become a co-pilot in the rally car that has driven by Jose Rodrigues.
As per Rodrigues, all four tires must offer ultimate speed and performance under great duress, offering maximum grip and extreme durability to be able to handle the fast circuit and high-speed bends. Rodrigues added that ’safety on the road is paramount for the driver who needs to be willing to take a risk while enjoying the adventure, being able to trust in the effectiveness of the tire grip and durability.
The former formula-1 driver Tiago Monteiro who was also among the guests stated after made the test drive that he was impressed with the high performance and quiet ride of the Starmaxx tires.
